DESCRIPTION:10:15 a.m.—We will begin outside with the kindling of the new fire used to light the paschal candle.\n\nBring flowers for the flowering of the cross which will be be outside\, near the place where we re-kindle the new fire.\nThe microphones will be on for the 10:15 a.m. kindling of the new fire so our online worshipers can hear but they will not be able to see us until we arrive inside about 10:30 a.m.\n\n\n10:30 a.m.—Easter Sunday Celebration.\n\nThere will be silent procession into the church with a single voice proclaiming “The light of Christ” three times. The congregation responds “Thanks be to God” each time.\nBring a bell: we invite everyone (especially children) to bring a bell to ring at the place in the service where we announce the resurrection. Place something like a paper towel in the bell so it is kept silent until the appropriate moment.\n\n\nFollowing the 10:30 a.m. service—Signs of the Resurrection Scavenger Hunt. All the youth are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt on the church grounds. We need 3–4 adults or kids over 14 to help set this event. There will be two sections. One for the littles and one for older youth.
