Planned Giving

Planned Giving at Buck Mountain

You are invited to become a member of The Buck Mountain Legacy Society. In so doing, you will join people who have made a gift provision for Buck Mountain Episcopal Church in their wills or estate plans. Through the Legacy Society, you will support the philanthropic opportunities that exist to sustain, in perpetuity, the future of Buck Mountain Church.

“We appreciate that there are gifts left to us by those who came before, gifts that have allowed Buck Mountain to be such a force for good in the world. It makes us happy to know that our legacy will help ensure that love continues into the future.”

Endowment Fund

Legacy gifts through your will or bequest are invested in our Endowment Fund, which was started in 2015 with the goal of perpetual growth as well as expanding our ministries, all to the greater glory of God. Our Guidelines document directs all investment aspects of the endowment fund.

Your Gift Benefits Ministries Today

Annual distributions from the return on investment of endowed funds have met the needs of several spiritual, social, educational, technological and other emerging needs of our church community. More information is found here.

Next Steps

Once you have put your estate planning decisions in writing, download the Legacy Enrollment Form and return it to the church office.

Other important considerations, such as medical directives and planning a funeral service and other wishes can be found on an End-of-Life Planning document and shared with the church vicar.
